Admission to UNE
Internal (on-campus) Students - Students applying for admission to enrol as a new ON CAMPUS undergraduate student need to apply through the University Admissions Centre (UAC) or the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) (on-time applications for mid-year entry usually close in June, for first semester the following year, in late September). Check the Admissions Bulletin for closing dates.
LATE APPLICATIONS ATTRACT A LATE FEE.
External (off-campus)
students should first apply for admission to UNE through the Student
Centre. Please visit http://www.une.edu.au/for/future-students/
for more details. If
you are a TRACKS student or a former UNE student applying for undergraduate
admission, or are applying for admission as an OFF CAMPUS undergraduate
student, you can make your admission application direct to UNE on the Undergraduate
Admission Application Form. See the Admissions
Bulletin for closing dates.
Postgraduate Studies:
If you are
applying for admission to enrol as a postgraduate student, for some awards
you need to apply through UAC or QTAC, for study by coursework you can apply
direct to UNE on the Postgraduate Admission Application Form (applications
for most of these awards close late November) and for study by research
you can apply direct to Research Services. Follow this link

full details on closing dates and UAC/QTAC information.

ISP
- The Internal Selection Program is an alternative method of entry to UNE
for Indigenous students wishing to undertake university studies. Students
need to apply for entry to ISP through the Oorala Centre and also apply
for a course of study at UNE as above.

is a UNE preparation program designed to assist students with the development
of study skills and the transition to mainstream university courses. It
can be studied either on-campus or by correspondence. To find out more and
enrol, please contact the Oorala Centre directly or check out the website
and enquire online.
