The Performance Planning and Review (PPR) protocol at UNE information session is designed to provide staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively participate in UNE's PPR protocol.

- Main phases in UNE's PPR protocol
- Preparation for the formal PPR discussion
The PPR course is provided both online and by face-to-face workshop. The Managing for Performance program is designed to assist staff in leadership, management and supervisory positions to effectively manage staff performance and specifically to:
- Understand the frameworks and support required for strong staff performance
- Develop skills in communicating performance expectations
- Develop skills in providing constructive feedback, both positive and for improvement
- Understand the process required to effectively resolve poor performance issues
- Have a broader understanding of development initiatives of staff
- Be aware of the policies and procedures related to staff performance
- Develop skills in conducting discussions about performance matters with staff
