Occupational Health and Safety for Supervisors and Managers
The OHS Act 2000 and OHS Regulation 2001 require employers to provide appropriate training and instruction as necessary to fulfill OHS obligations. This course is based on a standard WorkCover NSW training course, which has been adapted to the unique range of workplace conditions encountered at UNE.
The course is divided into six modules, with readings and exercises
dealing with different aspects of OHS and Risk Management:
Module 1: OHS Legislation in NSW
Module 2: OHS Management Systems
Module 3: Managing Health and Safety in the Workplace
Module 4: Implementing OHS Risk Management in the Workplace
Module 5: Occupational Health and Safety Performance Review
Module 6: Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation
OHS for Supervisors and Managers is offered free online or by workshop to UNE staff members.
