The Organisational Development Unit (ODU) offers a wide range of courses through Blackboard, the University's online learning system, in addition to conventional face-to-face classroom workshops. Browse for an online course that suits you, alternatively send us an email to OD@une or call us on 3583 for a free consultation to establish relevant courses to meet your needs.
If you have not studied online before the following information How to study online may be useful.
Register for online courses by completing and sending a registration form to ODU by either (a) electronically using the interactive form, (b) by fax 2755 or (c) by internal mail. We will email you to confirm your course and provide instructions for how to access your course via UNEonline (myUnits).
Online Learning Clinics
Purpose: To assist staff with all online learning courses ODU has scheduled a number of Online Course Clinics throughout 2008. All staff enrolled in an online course may attend any of the scheduled clinics where there will be a member of ODU staff to provide coaching and to answer any questions you may have. You MUST let us know if you wish to attend one of these clinics to ensure that someone will be there to work with you and to provide access to the room.
2008 Dates: Feb 15, Mar 14, Apr 11, May 9, Jun 13, Jul 11, Aug 8, Sep 12, Oct 10, and Nov 14
Times: 12 noon to 1.30pm
Venue: IT Staff Training Room on Level 2 of the IT Building
Cost: included in individual course fees where applicable
Online Courses for Staff New to UNE
All staff new to UNE are required to attend an Introduction to UNE session and it is expected that all new staff will complete the following online courses within the first 6 months of their employment at UNE:
