Section 14 - FMS

1. Delivery of Work

FMS Organisational Structure divides the delivery of work performed by each unit into three distinct areas:

  • Campus Services  Manager: Col McCallum (X 2659) or email cmccallu.  Responsible for Risk Management, Property (cleaning, pest control, fabric maintenance, relocation, CB Newling services, AV, room bookings, waste management, recycling and asset disposal), safety and security (parking, security, alarm monitoring, UNEWISE programs) and mail services.
  • Infrastructure  Manager: Brian Munro (X 2893) or email bmunro.  Responsible for mechanical, electrical, refrigeration services; asbestos management; carpentry and locksmithing; hydraulics; gardens and grounds; signage; energy management; utility management and maintenance scheduling.
  • Construction  Manager: Graham Johnson (X 3618) or email gjohnso2.  Responsible for minor works; capital works; ‘do and charge’ works.

    2. A Sustainable Environment

    Facilities Management Services (FMS) is available to provide support and advice on a range of environmental and sustainability issues on campus. Enquiries can be directed to the Environmental Officer on X2320.

    3. FMS Finance, Administration and Systems

    Including: Building Operations, works and assessments; Computer Assisted Design (CAD); Condition Assessment Project;  Space Management and utilisation;  FMS Geographic Information System; and FMS Information System - Archibus/FM.

    Service Level Agreements are currently being discussed. Information regarding these Agreements will be made available as soon as possible.
