English Language Centre (EC) - about us
The English Language Centre (ELC) is part of the Directorate of English Language and International Services. The ELC provides full-time English study on-campus. Courses offered included General English (GE) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP), which is designed to prepare students for tertiary study and entry into UNE Degrees. As well the ELC offers the Introductory Academic Program (IAP) for any international student who has satisfied entry requirements to UNE and wish to be acculturated into academic life and study on campus. Lastly, the ELC regularly hosts Study Tours for groups of international students who wish to learn English and experience Australian Culture.
