More than 200 Country Women’s Association (CWA) members,
representing 30 branches throughout NSW, will be in Armidale this
weekend [6-8 February] for the Association’s Annual Country
of Study Weekend School, to be held at the University of New England.
With assistance from the Embassy of the Republic of Chile, the
UNE Conference Company has created an opportunity for CWA members
to experience all that makes Chile what it is. This will be the
34th Annual CWA Country of Study Weekend School.
UNE has a long-standing relationship with the CWA. The Vice-Chancellor,
Professor Ingrid Moses, will officially welcome Association members
to the University at a Formal Dinner on Friday evening. His Excellency
Mr Cristobal Valdes, Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of
Chile, will be attending the ceremony and the weekend. UNE's Earle
Page College is hosting the Weekend Study School.
