Skeleton reveals "lost world of little people”
Since making his remarkable find of a lost world of little people, Professor Mike Morwood has been inundated with requests from international media, documentary proposals and offers to deliver public lectures on the subject.
Indeed, a public lecture delivered by Professor Morwood at Armidale Town Hall on November 11 was attended by more than 300 people, the largest gathering ever for such a lecture at the hall. Professor Morwood then drove to Brisbane the following day, where he delivered another public lecture to a similar-sized audience.
Professor Morwood is now in Indonesia and intends returning again next year with a film crew to the tiny island of Flores, where he discovered the skull of a new species of human, Homo Floresiensis.
The discovery was an international team effort led by Professor Morwood.
