There are a range of professional photographers in Armidale and you can choose your preferred photographer to undertake your work. Contact is to be made directly with the preferred photographer and payment for their services is to be made from your department’s budget.

You will need to enter into a short form contractor agreement with the photographer you choose. The standard form can be downloaded here: http://www.une.edu.au/vc/legaloffice/independent-contractor-agreements/.
Before reproducing images, you must be sure to have the permission of everyone who is identifiable in the image. Permissions are secured before the photos are taken, by asking the subjects to complete a release form.

Please note: Images of minors (those under 18 years of age) require the authorisation of a parent/guardian. If intending to photograph/video minors as part of a school group or other youth organisation, you should check if the organisation already has their own version of a permission or release form in place.
On completion of the job, the photographer will provide your images on two CD’s. One is for your use and one is to be provided to Michelle Gapes in Marketing and Public Affairs for uploading to the UNE Photodatabase.
