Social

There are numerous organised social events throughout the year for residents. The purpose of these is to provide our students with opportunities to interacts socially with others, and to take a break from their studies. Social events range from a weekend BBQ lunch, to themed dance parties, to our annual formal College Ball.

There will be a social event at College for you to attend every week, completely organised by the JCR student club. Functions are held both at Mary White and at local venues around Armidale.

Being the only College on the academic campus, Mary White is only a five minute walk to the Bistro, UNE’s on-campus bar and entertainment venue, which opens every Wednesday night.

Formal dinners are also held regularly throughout the year to celebrate with different themes, recognise the academic achievements of residents, and to present our many awards, scholarships and prizes.
