Community Activities

The College has an environmental group that raises awareness of environmental matters both on campus and in the wider community. Events include volunteer gardening at the local National Trust Property "Saumarez", the ancestral home of Mary White.

Residents sponsor a charity each year and actively raise funds.

In 2007, Mary White College students raised over $6,000 for the Leukemia Foundation and Breast Cancer through Shave for a Cure and other fundraising activities. 2008 has seen active support for the Salvation Army and the Red Shield Appeal, and strong support for the Midnight Basketball program.
