Accommodation
Accommodation at Mary White College is arranged in seven separate 'blocks'. Four blocks are for school leavers and continuing students, another block is an all female block, part of a block is set aside for over 25 year old residents, and we have an area that is designated an Alcohol Free Zone . The study bedrooms are centrally heated, and each is equipped with a telephone, voicemail, a computer port that allows access to the UNE computer network and the internet, study lamp, a chair, wardrobe, bookshelves, notice board, and a bed with all bed linen. Each floor has shared modern bathroom and toilet facilities. There are a small number of rooms with their own ensuite bathrooms. Each block has a Resident Fellow appointed to oversee the day-to-day functioning of the block, to provide practical advice about being a student as well as pastoral care. Their role is to ensure that all students enjoy their residential college experience. The College is fully catered with all meals provided in the Mary Bagnall Dining Hall. Other Facilities & UtilitiesA Common Room with an open fireplace for special occasions, a piano, pool table, large screen TV and DVD is the social hub of the College A smaller common room with dart board and another piano is also available.
