James C. Jackson Memorial Lectures

The James C. Jackson Memorial Lecture was instituted by the Malaysia Society of the Asian Studies Association of Australia in August, 1979, to ensure that Professor JacksonŐs contributions to the field of Malaysian studies be commemorated in an appropriate way. Professor Jackson was Professor of Modern Asian Studies at Griffith University. The Memorial Lecture is delivered by an eminent scholar on the occasion of the biennial Conference of the Asian Studies Association of Australia.
