Walk-in users have access to thirteen subscribed electronic databases:

ACS (American Chemical Society)

UNE has access to 30 current titles from the Society in addition to the ACS Archives. The Archival collection provides immediate access to 3 million pages of information on every aspect of chemical science. For most ACS journals, the Archives provide the full-text of all articles from the first issue to the latest Web edition. Staff and students of UNE can use the Archives to search the full-text of articles dating back to 1879.

AGIS Plus Text

AGIS Plus Text provides full text access to more than 130 legal journals for Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region in addition to the full AGIS index from 1975 onwards. Subject coverage includes all aspects of law. Full-text coverage: 1999–

APAFT (Australian Public Affairs — Full Text)

Australian Public Affairs — Full-Text is a journal index which also provides online access to full-text articles from nearly 400 journals in the social sciences and humanities. APAFT is based on APAIS (Australian Public Affairs Information Service), which is produced by the National Library of Australia and published by RMIT Publishing. Time period covered: 1995– (full-text), citations 1978–

BioOne

BioOne is an online collection of full-text articles from 50+ peer-reviewed journals and bulletins in the biological, ecological and environmental sciences. Most of the journals included in BioOne are published by small societies and non-commercial publishers in the United States. A list of the journals currently included in the BioOne collection is available from the BioOne site. Coverage: 2000– (varies with title).

CINAHL

The CINAHL database meets the information needs of nurses and allied health professionals. In addition to indexing nearly all English-language journals in this field, it provides the full-text of publications from the American Nurses’ Association and the National League for Nursing, as well as the full-text of 17 journals from allied health disciplines. Time period covered: 1982–

Emerald

Emerald is an online collection of full-text articles from over 190 peer-reviewed journals concerning management and related disciplines.

Informit Health Collection

Informit's Health Collection includes research articles, reports and case studies relevant to health workers, nurses and medical practitioners. Many titles in the Health Collection are unavailable elsewhere online, including journals dedicated to specialist topics such as ageing and aged care, child health, indigenous health issues, mental health and rehabilitation.

JSTOR

JSTOR is a full-text digital archive of academic journals. Many backsets begin in the nineteenth or early twentieth century. Most publishers included in JSTOR have negotiated 3-5 year embargoes, so the latest issues are not included. There is an online help file to assist you in making the best use of JSTOR.

ProQuest

ProQuest indexes around 8,000 newspapers and journals, covering all disciplines. Over half of the articles are available online in full-text.

PsycARTICLES

PsycARTICLES contains more than 140,000 full-text articles from 63 journals published by the American Psychological Association and allied organizations. Coverage includes general psychology and specialised basic, applied, clinical, and theoretical research in psychology. PsycARTICLES also provides free Tables of Contents for over 500 biomedical and nursing e-journals. Full-text PsycARTICLES content can be accessed directly or through the PsychINFO index. PsycINFO

The PsycINFO database is compiled by the American Psychological Association. It contains summaries of the world's serial literature in psychology and related disciplines,(indexes over 2150 journals in 27 languages). Time period covered: 1887–

SpringerLink

SpringerLink provides electronic access to over 500 peer-reviewed journals in different disciplines within the Sciences. Topics covered include astronomy, chemical sciences, computer science, economics, engineering, environmental sciences, geosciences, life sciences, mathematics, medicine and physics.

The features of the SpringerLink package include: searchable tables of content, abstracts and full-text articles advanced search options customisable alerts pre-publication access to electronic journal articles. Time period covered: 1996–

Wiley Online Library

Wiley Online Library delivers full-text articles from over 300 leading scientific, technical, medical and professioal journals, and major reference works. In addition, it includes a number of humanities journals previously available through Blackwells Synergy.
