The New England Collection exists to ensure the preservation of works related to the New England region, including works published by academics at UNE. It contains hundreds of rare and sometimes unique items, ranging from theses to pamphlets and other ephemera.
The New England Collection covers a collecting area from the Queensland border in the north south to the Gloucester Shire in the south, and from the coast to the Bourke Shire in the west.
The New England Collection holdings are included in the online catalogue, and some items are also available for loan from the General Collection.
Access to the Collection
The New England Collection Room is on the Lower Ground Floor of the Library.
Questions regarding the collection may be directed to the Curator, Pauline Jenkins.
Guidelines for access to the Collection are found elsewhere on the Library site.
