Database Licence Regulation Guide
The legal restrictions on the use of information from UNE-subscribed databases are available online in PDF format.
Please note that:
- Users must be registered UNE staff or students to gain benefits from the above services. They must be intending to use database information for scholarly, educational, scientific research or internal business use.
- No database authorises its services or contents to be used for commercial services.
- Direct links to databases are feasible for most databases offered. Electronic copies from the original service may not be copied and placed into another online service.
- All copyright or proprietary notices (including author attribution or disclaimer) must be retained and cannot therefore be altered, removed or modified from any format of material (print-out or on screen display).
- Copied data must not exceed the Contract and CAL agreements where applicable.
- All copies of materials must be deleted after the end of the term in which the related course concludes.
