What can we do to help you?

Contact the Faculty and Liaison Librarians to talk to us or make an appointment by telephone or email. Faculty and Liaison Librarians can:

  • provide advice about library research and literature reviews
  • inform you about the appropriate databases for your subject area
  • search for you in pay-per-view databases like British Education Index
  • advise you on Inter Library Loans and reciprocal borrowing at other universities
  • familiarise you with the layout and procedures of the University Library
  • assist you to use EndNote

2011 Skills for Research programme

In 2011 the Library will offer five classes as part of the Skills for Research programme. These are:

These classes are relevant across all Schools at UNE. A timetable and descriptions of the classes are here. You can book online or telephone the Service Desk on 02 6773 2458. If you are unable to attend the classes there are online tutorials covering the same material in eSKILLS Plus.
