Library services for students with disabilities

The Library's policy is to offer equitable access for all students. We provide services appropriate to the needs of staff and students who have permanent or temporary disabilities.

Accessing library support services

Your first step should be to contact Robyn Smith, the Disability Advisor at Student Assist, to register as a student with a medical condition/disability. Her email is disability.unit@une.edu.au and her telephone number is 02 6773 2897 (extn 2897).

Disability and Special Needs Support is physically located between the newsagent and the cafeteria in building C37.

The loan period is 28 days and three renewals are permitted. Higher degree students with a disability are able to borrow up to 50 items at one time. Their loan period is 91 days and they are allowed up to 5 renewals.
