Your Library Liaison Officer (LLO)

Each discipline or School has a Library Liaison Officer (LLO), who is appointed by the Head of School and is the day-to-day contact about Library operations relating to teaching, learning and research.

LLOs are a significant communication channel between the Library and their colleagues in their discipline or School. The LLO also works closely with the Liaison Librarian assigned to their School or discipline.

Library information resources

Information about new monographs and serials in a subject area is forwarded by the Library to LLOs for distribution to academic staff in their discipline. During the annual serials review, LLOs play an important communication and co-ordination role.
