Informit Australian flag Selected Full Text
The Informit databases cover a range of topics, including architecture, education, engineering and technology, environment, history, hospitality and tourism, Indigenous peoples, law and crime, social sciences and sports. Many are in full-text.

NewsBank Full Text Australian flag
NewsBank has the full-text of more than 100 newspapers from Australia and overseas.

RISM Music Manuscripts after 1600 (CD-ROM)
RISM contains descriptions and sources of manuscripts relating to the works of over 8,000 composers from Europe, the UK and the USA. The RISM CDs are held in Dixson Library at R780.16/R425. An online version of RISM details manuscripts from 1600-1800 held in British and Irish libraries. There are also hundreds of photographs of these manuscripts and scores online.

The Web of Science abstracts the scholarly literature in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities.

Music collections at UNE

Dixson Library (on the main UNE campus) has a large collection of books and journals on music, plus musical scores, on the lower ground floor.

Gordon Athol Anderson Music Collection of books, journals, manuscripts and microfilms, including specialised medieval material. There is restricted access to this collection located in Dixson Library.

Music Resource Centre in the CB Newling building near the Armidale CBD. There is a large collection of scores and recordings available for loan. The opening hours are:
Monday 8.45am-12.30pm
Tuesday 1.00pm-3.30pm
Wednesday 1.00pm-3.30pm
Thursday 8.45am-12.30pm

The Music Resource Centre collection's catalogue is now online.
