JSTOR Full Text
JSTOR contains the full-text of hundreds of journals across the disciplines from archaeology to zoology. Many journal backsets begin in the nineteenth or early twentieth century, however most publishers included in JSTOR have negotiated 3-5 year embargoes, so the latest issues are not included.

Newsbank Full Text
Newsbank has the full-text of more than 100 newspapers from Australia and overseas.

RISM Music Manuscripts after 1600 (CD-ROM)
Contains the complete description and source of manuscripts of over 8,000 composers from  Europe, UK and USA. 12th edition, 2004. The CDs are held in Dixson Library at R780.16/R425. An online version of RISM details the manuscripts from 1600-1800 that are held in British and Irish libraries. There are also hundreds of photographs of these manuscripts and scores.

Music collections at UNE

Dixson Library (on the main UNE campus) has a large collection of books and journals on music, plus musical scores, on the lower ground floor.

Gordon Athol Anderson Music Collection of books, journals, manuscripts and microfilms, including specialised medieval material. There is restricted access to this collection located in Dixson Library.

Music Resource Centre in the CB Newling building near the Armidale CBD. There is a large collection of scores and recordings available for loan. The opening hours are:
Monday 8.45am-12.30pm
Tuesday 1.00pm-3.30pm
Wednesday 1.00pm-3.30pm
Thursday 8.45am-12.30pm
