ERA and your research

Excellence in Research for Australia is responsible for assessing research quality in Australia. UNE's success in the 2012 ERA round will have a direct impact on the institutions's academic reputation and the funding it receives.

Only articles published in certain journals will be counted for the purpose of the 2012 round: see the official ERA 2012 journal list The ERA Current Outlet Access is also a useful site.

ERA submission dates

To ensure that your publications count towards the UNE total, please ensure that you don’t miss the deadline for submissions to e-publications@UNE. The Library will email you when the deadline is announced.

Citation counting

SciVerse Scopus will be used to provide citation information for the ERA 2012 exercise.

UNE currently subscribes to Scopus which offers a citation tracker, author identifier, affiliated search and journal analyser.

ERA reports

The latest ERA report (2010) is available online. For UNE-specific information, see the ERA page at Research Services.
