Services for researchers

Heritage Centre staff can make individual records available on application to in-person visitors. Records may also be located, copied and sent to researchers upon written application.

Charges for external enquiries

The Centre staff are happy to answer telephone, fax and email enquiries and will arrange for photocopying of records and photographic services on a fee-for-service basis.

Schedule of charges (GST inclusive)

  • A $5 administration fee (GST inclusive).
  • Cost of postage.
  • Any Photocopying/reproduction charges.

Researchers wishing to visit the Heritage Centre in person should make a prior appointment.

Photocopying

Heritage Centre staff provide a photocopying service.  However, records must be deemed by the University to be in good condition. In addition, volumes cannot be photocopied, but must be photographically reproduced.

Schedule of charges (GST inclusive)

  • A4 at $0.35 per page.
  • A3 at $0.50 per page.
  • F4 at $0.40 per page.

Photocopying onto photographic paper is also possible.

  • A3 at $3.80 per page.

Microfilm/fiche

Researchers using the microfilm/fiche reader printer may make copies subject to approval by the University Archivist.

Photographic reproduction

Heritage Centre staff can arrange for photographic reproductions to be made of most of the material in our holdings. Charges are available on application.
