In 2018, the Library has a new addition to its collection: ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Global (PQDT Global).
PQDT Global includes 4 million works from more than 3,000 universities world-wide. More than 130,000 works are added annually. Over 2 million theses and dissertations are available immediately in full-text.
The collection provides:
- A means for higher degree students to quickly determine if their thesis or dissertation topics have been anticipated by earlier thesis authors.
- Students, academics, and other researchers with immediate access to unpublished research related to their scholarly interests.
- Instant access to high-quality literature reviews and other summaries of whole fields of research.
- Access to thesis bibliographies, providing clues for their own research.
The basis of the collection are theses from universities in the United States and Canada, but PQDT Global also includes theses from a growing number of institutions across the globe.
