Library Service Desk

The Library Service Desk in the Learning Commons provides a service point where you can gain assistance in relation to the library and its services.

The friendly staff at the Service Desk will do their best to answer your enquiries during opening hours. The Service Desk number is (02) 6773 2458 (extn 2458).

Online Student Enquiries are generally toll free on 1800 059 735.

You can also send messages using the Ask a Librarian service.

Student Central

Student Central provides you with a focal point of contact for all your administrative enquiries, from questions about potential courses through to graduation.

A member of the Student Central staff is normally available  in Group Study Room 228.

Student Central staff may be contacted on (02) 6773 2000 (extn 2000) or through Ask UNE.

Safety & Security

Safety & Security no longer has an office in the Commons. However, security patrol the Library regularly during the day and a security guard will be present in the building at closing time.The guard will escort students and staff if needed.

IT Service Desk

The IT Service Desk has an office in the Learning Commons. During term and Intensive Schools, support is available in the Commons from 8.30 AM to 9.00 PM weekdays and 1.00 PM to 5.00 PM on weekends.

During vacation, IT support in the Commons is from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM weekdays only.

Academic Skills Office

The Academic Skills Office (ASO) has an office in the Commons.
