A range of study spaces

The Learning Commons includes a range of custom-designed spaces for group learning and individual study, including three Group Study Rooms and two Problem-Based Learning Rooms.

Group Study Rooms 1 & 2

The two group study rooms have:

• seating for four around a round table.
• computer with Internet access, Microsoft Office, Skype, built-in microphone and camera.
• network connections and power.

Group Study Room 3

Ground Study Room 3 (Second Floor) has:

• seating for 8-10 around a table.
• computer with Internet access and Microsoft Office.
• large ceiling-mounted display.
• network connections and power.

Problem Based Learning Rooms I & J

PBL I and PBL J feature:

• seating for ten around a large table.
• sofa and whiteboard.
• computer with Internet access, Microsoft Office.
• wireless mouse and keyboard.
• network and wireless connections.
• large wall-mounted monitor.

There are also a number of smaller rooms available for group study on the Lower Ground and Second (Top) Floors. These rooms are available on a "first come, first served" basis. Call in at the Service Desk and ask for a key.
