Facilities for students
The Learning Commons on the Ground Floor of the Dixson Library Building provides students with access to computer facilities and support services.
In the Commons, you can obtain friendly, expert advice from Library, IT and Student Central staff.
The Commons also offers state-of-the-art computing facilities and spaces for group work and individual study.
Laptop-friendly environment
The Commons facilities include wi-fi access and secure lockers for laptop storage. There are also three wi-fi equipped laptops for in-library use.
There is a Laptop Lounge in the south-east corner of the Commons, where you can use your laptop in a quiet environment.
