Computers for student use

There are more than 50 computers in the Learning Commons for student use. These computers are equipped with the following software:

• Windows 7.
• Internet Explorer 9.
• Mozilla Firefox 17.
• Mircrosoft Office 2010.
• SPSS Statistics 20.
• NX client for Windows (Turing).
• CDBurnerXP.
• Media Player 12.

Training Room

Fifteen computer workstations with 19-inch monitors are available for student use when not booked for classes. The Training lab computers include an extensive suite of software:

• NX client for Windows (Turing).

Computers elsewhere

There are additional computers on the First, Second and Lower Ground Floors, including six Macintosh computers on the First Floor behind the Curriculum Big Books. The six Macs are equipped with a range of educational and statistical packages in addition to the standard Mac multimedia tools and Microsoft Office.
