Dr Jennifer Hatte returned to the French staff at UNE in January 2003, after several years teaching in the school system. She had previously completed a PhD on Jean Cocteau and will continue to do research in the area of modern French and francophone literature.
Research interests
For the future, Dr Hatte is particularly interested in exploring the underlying Christian cultural and moral assumptions which may be found in texts; also in investigating 20th century and current French texts from the point of view of the presence/absence of a Protestant Christian voice.
