LLM Master of Laws (by Coursework)

The School of Law’s new Moot Court
The Master of Laws (by coursework) is a full-fee paying course available for study on-line by full or part-time study.
On-line flexibility
To qualify for the Master of Laws (by coursework) a candidate must successfully complete units to the value of 48 credit points including LLM 600 Research Methodology and Theory.
The Master of Laws (by coursework) will be offered on-line. Each subject will have all course materials in electronic form. Assessment will be delivered and submitted electronically. Units will make varying use of electronic discussion forums and/or chat-rooms. Units may offer intensive face-to-face sessions in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne subject to student demand.
Advanced standing
Students who have completed a Practical Legal Training Course (PLT) may be granted advance standing of up to three six credit point units. Applications for advance standing are made to the Course Coordinator.
Research flexibility
The Master of Laws (by coursework) has the flexibility to allow students to complete a 6cp, 12cp research topic or a 24cp minor dissertation. Supervisors are available in a wide variety of areas of legal research (link to Research Supervision below).
