Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
The PhD is the highest research degree for which a student can enrol. The PhD degree at UNE is one of the oldest and most prestigious doctoral research programs in Australia, and is internationally recognised for its tradition of excellence in research and for the quality and career mobility of its graduates. The School of Law can provide supervision in a wide range of areas of legal research and PhD candidates will be able to take advantage of modern collaborative supervision arrangements.
Doctorates are handled by direct application to the Research Services office of the University, however, prospective candidates may wish to discuss their proposal with the School’s research coordinator, Professor Stephen Colbran, School of Law, Faculty of The Professions, University of New England, NSW, 2351.
