Windows:
Windows Computers at UNE are delivered with a standard set of software which is loaded in the Dell factory prior to delivery.
The software loaded on the current image (last updated: 25th September 2009) is:

- UNE Password Registry Patch (To prevent passwords bieng sent clear text)
- UNE Windows Update Registry Patch (To use UNE update server in place of Microsoft)
- Microsoft DotNet 3.5

Mac
Macs are not currently delivered with an Standard Software Load - work on this features has commenced. A list of software that should be included in each Mac installation can be found as part of the SOE policy.
