Please refer to the links on the left for information on software available for purchase or through a site license, as well as information on locally available downloads and virus protection.

The list below indicates which software is currently supported by ITD. 

Operating Systems:

  • Windows XP (please note that Vista is currently NOT supported by UNE).
  • Mac OS 10.4 and 10.5

Applications / Windows:

  • Microsoft Office 2003 / 2007 (2007 preferred)
  • Citrix Client
  • Meetingmaker (calendaring software)
  • Adobe Reader (current version: 8)
  • McAfee Anti Virus (current version: 8.5)
  • Internet Explorer 6 and above
  • Firefox 2 and above
  • Endnote (installation only)
  • Network connectivity to UNE network
  • Modem connectivity to UNE network
  • UNE site-licensed statistics packages (installation only) – currently SPSS
  • UNE volume licences software (installation only) – including Adobe, Filemaker and Macromedia products
  • DVD / CD burning software
  • Access to UNE’s business applications (Finance One, Callista, Alesco) – to successful login only
