Updating Citrix on OS X

Due to an upgrade on our Citrix servers, the settings of your Citrix clients will need to be updated to reflect the new settings. We have created a script to make the update easier for you - if you are a Citrix user, please make sure that you run the script.
(You may want to print out these instructions before you start for reference during the installation process).
- Please click here to start the download.
- Double click on "Update ICA Files" from the desktop.

Step One - Updating Applescript
- Whilst most OS X machines will not be challenged, a small number of older OS X machines may require an update to Applescript before the Citrix Update can be installed. If the following message appears, click on Update otherwise go to STEP 2 .


- To update your AppleScript to the latest version click here
- Double click on AppleScript 1.8.3.dmg
  
- This will mount the installation files and place the icon below on your desktop
- By double clicking on the AppleScript Update , a folder will appear with a single file located within it called AppleScriptUpdate1.8.3.pkg

- This will now activate the Install Update . You will prompted for various pieces of information as you go, such as the licence agreement, install location and rebooting. You will need to agree to the agreement, and place the install files on the Macintosh HD
- You must then Reboot the computer
- When the machinbe restarts, double click on Update ICA Files

Step Two - Updating the Citrix Application
- The process is pretty straight-forward as you are not given many options. To update your Citrix settings, click on Update .



Please Note:
The process in updating Citrix can take up hour to run. During this time your machine may freeze or behave erratically. Please be patient while this update and do not run any unnecessary programs or processes.
- After some time, the process will complete and you can click on OK
