Cabling Work
ITD currently has contracts with three local cabling contractors to carry out cabling work at UNE. Covered by these contracts are minor works such as setting up of new network points, reactivation of network outlets, new phone extensions, move of extensions etc and major works such as underground cable locations, quotations and damaged cables and/or pits.
Requesting work to be done:
To request cabling work (network or voice), please use the Telecoms Work Request form on our website. You will be given choice of three cabling contractors. A full price list for all three contractors is below. Please note that a costcode must be provided with each request before work can commence.
Price List:
1 unit = 30 minutes
Prices are GST inclusive.
Standard Response: Work will commence within 24 hours of the work request being received by the contractor.
Critical Response: Work will commence within 1 hour of the work request being received by the contractor.
