About ITD

The purpose of the Information Technology Directorate is to provide leadership and management to the UNE community in the planning and deployment of cost effective, responsive and best practice Information and Communications Technology services to agreed standards, that support the achievement of the University’s strategic goals.

ITD is divided into a number of groups with specialist skills. When you have a problem and our help is required, a request is escalated to the appropriate group for action. These groups also carry out essential maintenance from time to time on the various components of the university network.
