The President
- Shall be the spokesperson of the Association
- Shall preside at all meetings of the Association at which he/she is present
- Shall co-ordinate all activities of the Association
- Shall have the power to act on behalf of the Association in matters of urgency, subject to rules laid down in the Constitution, and upon consultation with at least two other members of the Committee, prior to taking action.
- Shall serve as representative of the Association (in the International Committee, AIA, other meetings of interests to international students, etc) unless prior important engagements prevent this.
The Education Officer
- Shall act as the president in the absence of the president of the Association
- Shall liaise among the members, main student body and the University on all academic matters that concerns international students
- Shall consult and act as first point of contact for members regarding educational matters
- Shall be the research liaison officer of the Association
- Shall chair standing committee on education
The General Secretary
- Shall convene all Committee, General and Special General Meetings and prepare their agenda
- Shall write the minutes of Committee, General and Special Meetings of the Association
- Shall keep all documents (including membership list and a list of assets of the Association) and records of all meetings and activities of the Association, except financial records
- Shall be responsible for all official correspondence of the Association
- Shall submit an annual report of the activities of the Association at the Annual General Meeting
The Treasurer
- Shall maintain proper records of all financial matters of the Association
- Shall collect all fees, subscriptions, and donations
- Shall present a monthly financial report and financial statement of accounts to the Committee
- Shall submit an annual report and financial statement of accounts, duly audited, at the Annual General Meeting of the Association.
The Welfare and Social Officer
- Shall be and responsible for addressing social and welfare issues affecting members
- To gather information on the well-being of all members and be the liaison between the Association and the members and the university’s Equity Office
- Chair and/or organise events, activities (seminars & forums/workshops and coordinate social events) to promote awareness for the members’ welfare on campus.
- Shall prepare, in coordination with the Executive Committee (or News Editor), information material and advertisement for ISA.
