Ministry of Education, Royal Government of Butan
UNE hosts the Bhutan Multigrade Attachment Program for approximately six weeks each year and provides teacher training, both on campus and in regional New South Wales schools, for Bhutanese teachers. This program consists of the provision of short courses in education and teaching, based on the particular needs of participants. Participants come to the UNE Campus in Armidale for a period of four to eight weeks (but are not on a student visa) and have the opportunity to visit schools in the region to observe their teaching and learning practices.
UNE also has some Bhutanese government sponsored students who primarily study at Postgraduate level across all faculties at UNE.
