Residency Status
Dual Citizenship
Students who have both Australian citizenship and citizenship of another country are regarded as domestic students. Please contact UNE's Student Centre (who deal with all domestic students) through the AskUNE site.
Australian Permanent Residents
Students who have been granted Permanent Residency by the Australian Government are regarded as domestic students. Please contact UNE's Student Centre (who deal with all domestic students) through the AskUNE site.
Students who are in the process of or intending to apply for Permanent Residency are regarded as international students, until PR is officially granted by the Australian Government. If students are granted PR status after they have been admitted and commenced studies as an international student, their status changes to domestic from the actual date they are granted PR.
