Keith and Dorothy Mackay Postgraduate Travelling Scholarship 2012

PhD candidate Darren Mitchell has been awarded the Keith and Dorothy Mackay Postgraduate Travelling Scholarship for 2012.  The scholarship is to provide toward expenses to a short-term attachment at another institution or for an international conference.

Jill Awarded Perrott Family Science Prize for 2011

PhD candidate Jill Huntley has been awarded the Perrott Family Science Prize for 2011.  The Perrott Prize is a prestigious award of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, made available through the generous donation of Dr Colin Perrott and Mrs Ann Perrott.  Winners of this prize demonstrate that the underlying intent of their research is to contribute to society through science and technology for a better life; improving the quality of human life and sustaining the natural environment.
