Graduate Certificate in History Curriculum

The Graduate Certificate in History Curriculum will be offered at UNE for the first time in 2011 to assist K-12 teachers nationwide prepare for the History component of the new Australian Curriculum. This fully on-line course is aimed at current primary teachers and secondary history teachers wishing to upgrade their professional qualifications and up-skill for the new curriculum. The Graduate Certificate comprises four units that have been specifically devised by UNE's School of Humanities and School of Education and include both pedagogical and practical components. Course duration is 1 year part time (maximum two years).

Group Learning Scholarships
The School of Humanities and School of Education at UNE are offering Group Learning Scholarships for individual schools that enrol six or more students in the GCHC.
Schools that enrol 6-10 students for the entire GCHC, and pay their fees up-front, will receive a 10% ‘sponsorship’ towards their fees paid for by the schools.
Schools that enrol 11+ students for the entire GCHC, and pay their fees up-front, will receive a 20% ‘sponsorship’ towards their fees paid for by the schools.
