Academic Promotion 2012
Eligible academic staff intending to apply for promotion are strongly encouraged to attend one of the Information Sessions held to assist in the preparation of an application. Staff are advised to regularly check this site for updates.
To indicate your intention to apply for promotion, please complete the Intent to Apply online form by 15 May 2012. This form directs the Academic Services Unit to obtain publication information required by policy from the University's e-Publications database. This information forms part of your application.
Applications close Monday, 9 July 2012.
Academic staff intending to apply for promotion in 2012 should ensure they have submitted a request to have an evaluation of their teaching conducted to David Lucas, Coporate Intelligence Unit, x2951, email evaluati@une.edu.au. The 2012 Promotion Policy states that "Applicants are required to provide at least three UNE-recognised Student Evaluation of Teaching reports over a range of years, including an evaluation from the most recent teaching block."
