the proposed Agreements, of its intention to make two separate agreements
with Academic and General Staff members as follows:
- University of New England (Academic Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2003-2006; and
- University of New England (General Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2003-2006.
In accordance with Part VIB of the Act, voting on the proposed Agreements will be by show of hands at meetings on Thursday, 24 March, 2005, at Lazenby Hall, as follows:

Copies of the proposed Agreements, and Further Information Statements are available for all staff on the HR Website at: http://www.une.edu.au/ir/eb.htm
Hard copy of these documents are available from today at selected locations around campus for staff who in the normal course of their work do not have access to computers, such as Facilities Management Services, and the Student Residences. Staff members may request a hard copy of the relevant documents from Human Resource Services by contacting Sarah Collister on ext. 3738 or e-mailing: sarah.collister@une.edu.au
Any staff members who have a particular disability which requires the information to be presented in an alternate format can contact the Equity Office on ext 3591, or e-mail: bomahone@une.edu.au
Staff members who require assistance with language translations or interpretation can contact the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics in the first instance on ext. 2494, or e-mail: gmodel@une.edu.au
Seminars and information sessions about the proposals will be conducted during the fourteen (14) day notice period. Further advice will follow on dates, times and locations of these information sessions.
On the day of the vote, staff will need to bring their Staff ID cards with them to the meeting. Current casual staff, i.e. those who have been paid within the fortnight prior to the vote being taken will all be on a list, and will also be entitled to vote. Those casual staff who do not have a Staff ID card will need to bring some other forms of identification with them so they can be checked off the list.
For staff who wish to vote, but are working away from the main campus, or are aware that they will not be available in Armidale at the time of the vote, please contact this Office so that arrangements can be made for your participation.
