Message from the Vice-Chancellor regarding Academic Reorganisation
I am pleased to present to the UNE community a first draft of the University of New England Academic Reorganisation Workplace Change proposal.
The document is published at http://www.une.edu.au/hrs/wpc.htm. Staff members who are unable to access the document should collect a copy from Human Resource Services, TC Lamble Building level 3. Would supervisors please ensure that all staff are provided with access to the document.
I believe that the proposal is an important and well-considered development for the University. Many staff of the University have contributed to it, and I am grateful for their contributions.
The draft will be changed and refined further, as additional comment is received and considered, in accordance with the consultation process of clause 31, Workplace Change, of the UNE Workplace Agreement 2006-2008.
Details of the consultation and timeline for implementation are provided in section 6 of the document. In addition, there will be consultation meetings held in coming days, and I will be available at some of these.
