Online Admission to Courses
If you are an Australian Citizen or hold Permanent Residency status, to apply for admission into a Course with the Graduate School of Business click on the icon below and follow the questions.
The information below outlines the documentation required for each Course you must have this documentation ready for upload as part of this process.
Steps to Managing your Online Admission: The first step in applying to study at UNE is to choose a course that interests you and note the entry requirements for that course. This information can be found in the Course and Units Catalogue or on the GSB web site.
Secondly, complete the online admission form. Ensure you submit and upload all supporting documentation as outlined in the information provided in the instructions below with your online application.
Advanced Standing or Credits from prior postgraduate studies: If you want to apply for advanced standing or credits from previous postgraduate studies complete the advanced standing form, supply the unit outlines for the units you believe may be relevant and upload with your application. Applications for advanced standing will not be considered until all required documentation is supplied.
You will receive an email confirming successful submission of your online application outlining further steps you need to undertake.
If you are applying for one of the following Courses:
Master of Business Administration
Master of Strategic Organisational Development
Graduate Diploma in Management
Graduate Certificate in Management
Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management
the following documentation must be included with your online application:
2 referee reports using this form – these reports can be forwarded to the GSB separately;
A copy of your CV or Resume showing at least 3 years work experience;
Certified or notarised copy of your Identification (eg: passport);
Certified or notarised copies of academic records;
A personal Statement covering areas such as:
Your most significant experiences or achievements to date;
Your long-term objectives and your expectations of this degree in fulfilling these objectives;
Where you see yourself five years from now;
Any other information you consider relevant to your admission;
Evidence of English Language Proficiency if previous studies were not in English.
If you are applying for one of the following Courses:
Master of Financial Services
Master of Leadership
Graduate Diploma in Financial Services
Graduate Certificate in Financial Services
the following documentation must be included with your online application:
A copy of your CV or Resume showing at least 3 years work experience;
Certified or notarised copy of your Identification (eg: passport);
Certified or notarised copies of Bachelor or postgraduate academic records;
A personal Statement covering areas such as:
Your most significant experiences or achievements to date;
Your long-term objectives and your expectations of this degree in fulfilling these objectives;
Where you see yourself five years from now;
Any other information you consider relevant to your admission;
Evidence of English Language Proficiency if previous studies were not in English.
If you are applying for one of the following Courses:
Master of Professional Accounting
Master of Professional Accounting and Business
Master of Commerce
Master of Business Research
Master of Training and Development
Graduate Diploma in Accounting
Graduate Certificate in Accounting
the following documentation must be included with your online application:
Certified or notarised copy of your Identification (eg: passport);
Certified or notarised copies of academic records;
A copy of your CV or Resume showing at least 3 years work experience (only if you are applying to the Graduate Certificate in Accounting and do not have a first degree);
A personal Statement covering areas such as:
Your most significant experiences or achievements to date;
Your long-term objectives and your expectations of this degree in fulfilling these objectives;
Where you see yourself five years from now;
Any other information you consider relevant to your admission;
Evidence of English Language Proficiency if previous studies were not in English.
If you are applying for one of the Institute of Public Accountants courses:
Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting
the following documentation must be included with your online application :
Copy of the current Paid IPA Tax Invoice as proof of membership renewal;
A copy of your CV or Resume showing at least 2 years work experience;
Certified or notarised copy of your Identification (eg: passport or birth certificate or drivers licence);
Certified or notarised copies of academic records;
Evidence of English Language Proficiency if previous studies were not in English.
If you are applying for one of the Institute of Public Accountants courses:
Master of Commerce in Professional Accounting
the following documentation must be included with your online application:

If you are applying for Non Award or Cross Institutional Studies:
You will need to supply a certified or notarised copy of your Identification (eg: passport) if you are not a previous student of UNE;
Evidence of English Language Proficiency if previous studies were not in English.
