Graduate Diploma in Management
This award enables students to develop a range of management skills. Students select 8 units from approximately 60 units offered by the Graduate School of Business. Students may choose from broad management subjects or may choose to specialize in an area such as Marketing or Human Resource Management. This degree serves as an entry and an exit point for the Master of Business Administration.
Admission
Applicants for admission to candidature for the Graduate Diploma in Management must have:
- have completed a three-year degree or an equivalent qualification at UNE or another recognised tertiary institution; or
- completed the Graduate Certificate in Management with at least a credit average in the overall results of the four units of the certificate.
In addition, applicants must provide evidence of at least three years managerial experience in a field of employment approved by the Director of the GSB.
Requirements
To satisfy the requirements for the Graduate Diploma, a candidate must complete eight GSB units. Students must complete the Diploma in no more than twelve trimesters.
Students may complete any eight units from the list of units available, with due consideration of prerequisites and Major requirements.
