Master of Commerce
The Master of Commerce is a fee‐paying, coursework only program, which provides an excellent means of obtaining advanced‐level qualifications in business studies. The Master of Commerce provides a broadening course for those students wishing to extend their knowledge of business generally, or provides for specific career enhancement for those students seeking a greater concentration in a particular discipline. Students can enrol in areas such as accounting, finance, management and entrepreneurship.
Full-time candidates will satisfy the requirements of the degree in not more than 3, 15 week trimesters or 1 year. Part-time candidates will complete the requirements in not more than 8, 15 week trimesters.
2012 Course Structure
Except with the permission of the faculty on the recommendation of the relevant head of school or nominee, the course of study shall include units to a value of 48 credit points in the relevant major discipline defined as follows:
Students may select up to 2 units from units offered by the GSB with permission from the Course Coordinator. Except they may not include GSB642, GSB701, GSB702, GSB703, GSB728, GSB743 or GSB748.

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for admission in the Master of Commerce, a candidate must have completed a three year degree or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.
