Admission & Dates
There are three student intakes each year.
The application closing dates are our preferred dates, but we have some flexibility. Please check with the GSB if the closing date is close or has passed.
Please note: close date for trimester 1 applications has been extended to 30 November 2009.
Trimester 1 Principal Dates
Applications for admission to a course of study for new students will close on 30 November 2009.
Last date to enrol into units of study for all students 8 January 2010
The trimester commences 18 January 2010 and ends on 30 April 2010
Last date to withdraw without financial liability (no fees refunded after this date): 12 February 2010
Last date for withdrawal without academic penalty: 12 March 2010
Examination period begins: 27 April 2010
Examination period ends: 30 April 2010
T1 Exam results published: 20 May 2010
Trimester 2 Principal Dates
Applications for admission to a course of study for new students will close on 12 March 2010
Last date to enrol into units of study for all students 30 April 2010
The trimester commences 10 May 2010 and ends on 20 August 2010
Last date to withdraw without financial liability (no fees refunded after this date): 4 June 2010
Last date for withdrawal without academic penalty: 2 July 2010
Examination period begins: 16 August 2010
Examination period ends: 20 August 2010
T2 Exam results published: 9 September 2010
Trimester 3 Principal Dates
Applications for admission to a course of study for new students will close on 2 July 2010.
Last date to enrol into units of study for all students 20 August 2010
The trimester commences 30 August 2010 and ends on 10 December 2010
Last date to withdraw without financial liability (no fees refunded after this date): 24 September 2010
Last date for withdrawal without academic penalty: 22 October 2010
Examination period begins: 6 December 2010
Examination period ends: 10 December 2010
T3 Exam results published: 6 January 2011
To apply for admission into a Course with the Graduate School of Business click on the icon below and follow the questions.
International students applying for admission to one of the following courses:
Master of Business Administration
Master of Organisational Development and Strategic Human Resource Management
Graduate Diploma in Management
Graduate Certificate in Management
Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management
Will need to download and complete the application form.
In addition to the application form the following documentation is required:
2 referee reports using this form
A copy of your CV or Resume showing at least 3 years work experience
Certified copy of your Identification (eg: passport)
Certified copies of academic records
A personal Statement covering areas such as:
- Your most significant experiences or achievements to date;
- Your long-term objectives and your expectations of this degree in fulfilling these objectives;
- Where you see yourself five years from now;
- Any other information you consider relevant to your admission.
Evidence of English Language Proficiency if applicable
International students applying for admission to one of the following courses:
Master of Professional Accounting
Master of Professional Accounting and Business
Graduate Diploma in Accounting
Graduate Certificate in Accounting
Master of Commerce
Master of Business Research
Will need to download and complete the application form.
In addition to the application form the following documentation is required:
A copy of your CV or Resume showing at least 3 years work experience
Certified copy of your Identification (eg: passport)
Certified copies of academic records
A personal Statement covering areas such as:
- Your most significant experiences or achievements to date;
- Your long-term objectives and your expectations of this degree in fulfilling these objectives;
- Where you see yourself five years from now;
- Any other information you consider relevant to your admission.
Evidence of English Language Proficiency if applicable
International students applying for admission to one of the National Institute of Accounting courses:
Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting
Master of Commerce in Professional Accounting
Must complete the application form and return it with the relevant documentation to the GSB by the closing date.
In addition to the application form the following documentation is required:
Evidence of NIA membership
A copy of your CV or Resume showing at least 3 years work experience
Certified copy of your Identification (eg: passport or birth certificate or drivers licence)
Certified copies of academic records
Evidence of English Language Proficiency if applicable
If you wish to undertake single units of study please complete the Professional Development Program application form. You will also need to supply a certified copy of your Identification (eg: passport) if you are not a previous student of UNE.
