Dr Laurie Piper
Dr Laurie Piper is an animal breeding consultant, Honorary Research Fellow at CSIRO Livestock Industries and Adjunct Professor of Animal Science at the University of New England. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering. His training and expertise is in genetics and animal breeding.
Dr Piper has worked as a research scientist/research manager in the wool and beef industries for the last 45 years and in more recent times has become involved in aquaculture genetics.
