Mr Kevin Dupé
Kevin Dupé is a Minister-appointed Councillor of the University of New England, commencing in 2009, and is also the Chairman of SportUNE.
Kevin brings a history of business, finance and strategy to the Council, with a strong economic background. Kevin is the CEO of a large regional credit union, and has over twenty years of experience in the banking sector. Prior to this, Kevin spent sixteen years as a Director in various economic and socioeconomic policy units in the Federal Government.
Kevin’s educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Economics (Australian National University); Advanced Management Program (INSEAD); and Company Director Diploma (Australian Institute of Company Directors). Kevin is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and also a Fellow of the Australian Mutuals Institute.
Kevin has an interest in supporting and building local communities, and is a red wine connoisseur.
Other current Board/Committee positions include Director of Australian Settlements Ltd (ASL); Chairman of the Armidale Food Emporium Unit Trust; and Chairman of the BackTrack Steering Committee. Kevin was formerly the Deputy Chairman of Regional Development Australia (RDA) and Chairman of FutureStaff.
