Jeannet van der Lee

Jeannet was elected as a member of Council by the Non-Academic Staff on 21st August 2012.  Her current term on Council will expire on 20th August 2014.

Jeannet has a long standing association with UNE both as a student and staff member.  She has successfully completed a B. Natural Resources (1994) and a  PhD (2003) at UNE and has been employed in a variety of roles across the University since 1994, including the Centre for Water Policy Research, Centre for Higher Education Management and Policy and the Vice-Chancellor’s Unit.

Projects of significance to which she has contributed include: the development of the Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement; an international comparative research project - the Changing Nature of the Academic Profession; 2009 Australian Universities Quality Agency Audit of UNE; development and implementation of Unit and Course Monitoring and Course Profile Planning at UNE; and most recently the Pearson Alliance implementation and the SAF Courseware Redevelopment project. Jeannet’s current role is as Senior Policy Advisor in the Policy, Planning and External Relations Directorate.
